Dawn Wells is an American actress, best known for her role as ‘Mary Ann Summers’ in the TV series ‘Gilligan’s Island’ (1964-67). She made her TV debut on the show ‘The Roaring 20s’ (1960-62). Her other TV appearances came in shows such as ’77 Sunset Trip’ (1961),’The Wild Wild West’ (1965-69), ‘Three Sisters’ (2001), ‘Pastor Greg’ (2005) and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (2016). She made her film debut in 1964 film ‘The New Interns.’ She reprised her role in three reunion films of ‘Gilligan’s Island,’ namely  ‘Rescue from Gilligan's Island’ (1968), ‘The Castaways on Gilligan's Island’ (1979), and ‘The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island’ (1981). There was also ‘Gilligan’s Island’s cartoon spin-off ‘Gilligan’s Planet’ (1982-83). Some of her films include ‘The Town That Dreaded Sundown’ (1976), ‘Return to Boggy Creek’ (1977) and ‘Super Sucker’ (2003). During 70s and 80s, Wells shifted her focus toward theatre and appeared in numerous theatrical productions.Â
