Connie Stevens was an American director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor and singer. She is best known for playing the role of Cricket in the television series ‘Hawaiian Eye’ (1959 – 1963). Her other television appearances include ‘Wendy and Me’ (1964 – 1965), ‘Playmates’ (1972), ‘Murder Can Hurt You’ (1980), and ‘Fat Actress’ (2005).Â
She acted in films like ‘Susan Slade’ (1962) and ‘Palm Springs Weekend’ (1963). She was suspended by Warner Brothers briefly for refusing to go on a publicity tour.Â
She later starred in the horror film ‘Two on a Guillotine’ (1965), ‘Never Too Late’ (1965) and ‘Way... Way Out’ (1966). She has released nine albums that include ‘Concetta’ (1958) and ‘The Very Best of Connie Stevens’ (2012).Â
