Watchmen is based on a DC comic book series of the same name and follows one of the last remaining vigilantes, Rorschach, as he investigates the death of one of his colleagues. His quest leads him to deadly secrets and a cover-up, which could change the world.

After her husband Gerry dies of a brain tumor, Holly loses the will to live despite attempts by family members and friends to cheer her up. However, starting on her 30th birthday, she begins receiving a series of messages from Gerry that he had previously prepared to guide her towards a journey of rediscovery.

It soon seems that the townspeople are transforming into zombies due to a supernatural demonic force.
