Ivan Reitman is a Slovak-Canadian film producer and director. He is best known for directing comedy films such as ‘Ghostbusters’ (1984), ‘Kindergarten Cop’ (1990), ‘Up in the Air’ (2009), and ‘No Strings Attached’ (2011). Ivan started his journey as a producer at the new station ‘CITY-TV’ in Toronto. He made his directorial debut in the film ‘Foxy Lady’ (1971). He tasted his first success in ‘Meatballs’ (1979) for which he also earned a ‘Golden Reel Award.’ His first significant performance as a producer came in the film ‘National Lampoon's Animal House’ (1978). Some of his more popular films include ‘Stripes’ (1981), ‘Legal Eagles’ (1986), ‘Twins’ (1988), ‘Six Days, Seven Nights’ (1998), and  ‘My Super Ex-Girlfriend’ (2006). He also helped in the production of films, such as ‘Space Jam’ (1996), ‘Road Trip’ (2000), ‘EuroTrip’ (2004), and ‘I Love You, Man’ (2009). In 2007, he was inducted into Canada’s ‘Walk of Fame.’
