Bridget Moynahan made her debut in the 1998 Sollace Mitchel-directed romance drama film ‘Row Your Boat’ where she played the role of an apartment owner. The following year, she became a part of the American romantic comedy-drama television series ‘Sex and the City’ created by Darren Star. She played the role of ‘Natasha Naginsky’ and remained on the show until 2000. She next starred as ‘Rachel’ in the 2000 American teen musical comedy-drama film ‘Coyote Ugly’ directed by David McNally. While the film was panned by critics, it managed to come out as a commercial success. She continued to star in films like ‘Serendipity’ (2001), ‘The Sum of All Fears’ (2002), and ‘The Recruit’ (2003). In 2004, she portrayed Dr. Susan Calvin in the American science fiction action film ‘I, Robot’ directed by Alex Proyas. The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics and grossed over $353.1 million on a $120 million budget. The following year, she appeared in the American crime drama film ‘Lord of War’ where she played the role of ‘Ava Fontaine.’ The film received mostly positive reviews from critics and scored a 61% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In 2010, she joined the main cast of the American police procedural drama television series ‘Blue Bloods’ created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess. In April 2021, the series was renewed for a 12th season which premiered in October 2021. In 2011, Moynahan starred as ‘Michele’ in the Jonathan Liebesman-directed American military science-fiction action film ‘Battle: Los Angeles.’ Even though the film saw mostly negative reviews upon release, it did decent business at the box office. She portrayed Helen Wick in the 2014 American neo-noir action thriller film ‘John Wick’ directed by Chad Stahelsk. The film garnered praise from critics and was a commercial success, grossing over $86 million on a $20–30 million budget. In 2017, she reprised her role as ‘Helen Wick’ in ‘John Wick: Chapter 2,’ the sequel to the 2014 film, ‘John Wick.’ The film was positively received by critics and performed well at the box office. Her last big-screen appearance came with the 2019 American action film ‘Crown Vic’ where she played the role of ‘Tracy Peters.’ The film received a mixed response from critics.
