Brian Russell de Palma is an American film director and screenwriter. He is best known for directing films such as ‘Scarface’ (1983), ‘Mission Impossible’ (1996) ‘Sisters’ (1973), and ‘Femme Fatale’ (2002). Brian was a Physics student when he fell in love with filmmaking after watching ‘Citizen Kane’ and ‘Vertigo.’ He started with making short films and documentaries, and eventually left for ‘Hollywood’ in 1970. His first successful film was ‘Sisters’ (1972). His other important films include ‘Carrie’ (1976), ’Dressed to Kill’ (1980), ’The Untouchables’ (1987), ‘Raising Cain’ (1992), ‘Mission to Mars’ (2000), ‘The Black Dahlia’ (2006), ‘Passion’ (2012), and ‘Domino’ (2019). He established himself in genres such as crime drama and psychological thrillers. Brian’s work has received a lot of controversy due to its violent content. However, his work is also well-received by the critics. He received a star at the ‘Almeria Walk of Fame’ during the making of ‘Domino.’
