Martin Henderson is a New Zealand actor, best known for playing ‘Noah Clay’ in the highly successful horror film ‘The Ring’ (2002). He is also known for his TV roles, such as ‘Stuart Neilson’ in ‘Shortland Street’ (1992-1995, 2017), ‘Scotty Gibbs’ in ‘Big Sky’ (1997-1999), ‘Harold Jensen’ in ‘The Red Road’ (2014-15),  ‘Dr. Ben Keeton’ in ‘Off the Map’ (2011), and ‘ Dr.Nathan Riggs’ in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ (2015-17). He made his screen debut at the age of 18, on the TV series ‘Strangers,’ in 1989. He made his film debut in an Australian film titled ‘Kick’ (1999), earning an ‘AFI Award’ nomination for ‘Best Supporting Actor.’ Some of his popular films are ‘Windtalkers’ (2002), ‘Bride & Prejudice’ (2004), ‘Little Fish’ (2005), ‘Smokin’ Aces’ (2006), ‘Battle in Seatle’ (2007), ‘Cedar Boys’ (2009), ‘Everest’ (2017), and ‘Juveniles’ (2018). Some of his unsuccessful films are ‘Torque’ (2004), ‘Perfect Opposites’ (2004), and ‘The Moment’ (2013).Â
