Set in the 16th century, the multi-awards-winning historical film depicts an epic romance. Jodhaa, daughter of Raja Bharmal of Amer, is married to Mughal emperor Akbar to strengthen the Mughal-Rajput alliance. A somewhat-reluctant Jodhaa puts the condition of retaining her religion (Hindu), which Akbar agrees to. The mighty Emperor, who has won many battles, sets out to win love of the fiery Princess Jodhaa.
