Mark Harmon is an American actor, who has been active for several decades in the industry. He is one of the most popular character actors of all times. He started his acting career with small roles in the early 70s with films, such as ‘Ozzie’s Girls,' ‘All’s Fair,’ and ‘Police Woman.' He made his debut in the feature films in late 70s with the film ‘Comes a Horseman’ and later became part of some notable films, including ‘Worth Winning,’ ‘Stealing Home,' ‘Let’s Get Harry,’ and ‘Summer School.’
Subsequently, he kept his TV career rolling with roles in the series, such as ‘Reasonable Doubts,’ ‘Harts of the West,’ ‘The West Wing,’ and ‘Jag.' The last one is considered to be the best role of his career.
At the turn of the century, Mark Harmon appeared in some notable films, such as ‘Chasing Liberty,’ ‘Freaky Friday,’ and ‘Weather Girl.' Mark Harmon never quite made it as a leading actor and most of the best roles of his career were either guest appearances or one or two episode stints in popular series.
His career also contains some colossal failures, such as ‘Original Sin’ and ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.'
