Lenny Henry is a popular British stand-up comedian, actor, singer, and TV personality. He is best known for co-founding ‘Comic Relief,’ a British charity with an aim to raise money by performing stand-up comedy. He also hosts ‘Comic Relief’ (1987-2007, 2011-present) on TV. Lenny is also known for many other TV series, such as ‘The Fosters’ (1976-77), ‘Chef!’ (1993-96), ‘Hope and Glory’ (1999-2000), ‘Broadchurch’ (2016), and ‘The Long Story’ (2018). He has also presented TV shows, such as ‘Britain's Classroom Heroes’ (2010-11), ‘The Magicians’ (2011), and ‘The Olivier Awards’ (2015). He made his film debut as ‘Ritchie Lee’ in the 1987 film ‘Coast to Coast.’ Some of his known films are ‘Mirrormask’ (2005), ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ (2004), and ‘Penelope’ (2006). Some of his failed films include ‘The Suicide Club’ (1988), ‘Work Experience’ (1989), and ‘True Identity’ (1991). He currently serves as the ‘Chancellor’ of ‘Birmingham City University.’
