Wicked wizard Gargamel, who is after the magical Smurf-essence, creates Smurf-like Naughties, to seize the essence. When he learns that only Smurfette knows the secret spell to turn the Naughties into genuine Smurfs who can get him the essence, Gargamel kidnaps and takes her to Paris. Now the Smurfs, with the help of their human friends, must rescue her from the sorcerer.
