Martin Campbell is a well-known New Zealand television and film director. Based in the U.K, he is renowned for his miniseries ‘Edge of Darkness.’ He bagged in a ‘BAFTA Award’ for the same. He is also distinguished for the James Bond films ‘Casino Royale’ and ‘GoldenEye.’ He started his career in the 1970s as a director of action television series and softcore sex comedies. He also directed a commercially successful film ‘The Mask of Zorro.’ This was followed by ‘The Legend of Zorro,’ which was well-received at the box-office but could not match the success of its predecessor.
