Noel Fielding started as a stand-up comedian. He first appeared on TV-series ‘Gas’ (1997-1998), and ‘Unnatural Acts’ and ‘Alexei Sayle’s 'Merry-Go-Round.’ His first film appearance was in a minor role in ‘Plunkett & Macleane’ (1998).
‘The Mighty Boosh Comedy Troupe’ of Fielding and fellow-comedians created a radio-series, followed by the successful TV-show ‘The Mighty Boosh’ (2004-2007) which earned various awards.
Fielding played a recurring role in the comedy-show ‘The IT Crowd’ (2006-2013). He often appeared as a contestant on ‘The Big Fat Quiz of the Year’ (2006-2018), and participated as Team-captain on the comedy-panel series ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ (2009-2015).
Fielding wrote and starred in his sketch comedy-show ‘Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy,’ followed by ‘Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy 2: Tales from Painted Hawaii’ (2012-2014). He featured in various shows, including ‘QI,’ ‘Nathan Barley,’ ‘Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace’ and others. He co-hosted ‘The Great British Bake-off’ (2017).
