Aisling Bea was first seen in the Irish television soap opera ‘Fair City’ in 2009. She played the role of ‘Cliodhnah Norris’ and starred in 3 episodes of the series. That same year, she also appeared in the British comedy sketch show ‘We Are Klang,’ directed by Ben Kellett. The following year, she starred as ‘Mary O'Mara’ in the British mockumentary television comedy series ‘Come Fly with Me,’ created by Matt Lucas and David Walliams. She only appeared for a single episode in the series. She went on to appear in television series like ‘Lewis’ (2011), ‘Holby City’ (2011), ‘Cardinal Burns’ (2012), ‘Dead Boss’ (2012), ‘In with the Flynns’ (2012), ‘The Town’ (2012), and ‘Playhouse Presents’ (2014), and ‘The Assets’ (2014).
In 2014, she starred as Charlotte "Charlie" O'Connor in the British sitcom ‘Trollied,’ created by Anne Marie O'Connor, Paul Doolan, and Ash Atalla. She appeared in 13 episodes and remained a part of the series until 2015. She continued to star in television series and shows like ‘Funny Valentines’ (2015), ‘The Delivery Man’ (2015), ‘Damned’ (2016), ‘The Fall’ (2016), ‘Drunk History’ (2017), and ‘Gap Year’ (2017). In 2018, she became a part of the pre-apocalyptic British crime drama series ‘Hard Sun’ where she played the role of ‘Mari Butler.’ The series ran for 6 episodes and was canceled after one season. The following year, she joined the main cast of the British comedy-drama television series ‘This Way Up.’ The series completed its second season in July 2021. Bea was last seen in the "Eve of the Daleks" episode of the British science fiction television series ‘Doctor Who’ in 2022.
