Sanjay Dutt is a well-known Indian actor. He is known for his work in movies such as ‘Khalnayak’, ‘Vaastav: The Reality’, ‘Mission Kashmir’, ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ and ‘PK’.
His best and critically appreciated works include the crime thriller ‘Naam’ (1986), action drama ‘Kabzaa’ (1988), the action film ‘Hathyar’ (1989), the  action thriller ‘Khalnayak’ (1993), the crime drama ‘Vastaav: The Reality’ (1999), the crime thriller ‘Mission Kashmir’ (2000), the satirical comedy dramas ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ (2003), ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ (2006) and ‘PK’ (2014). For his performance in ‘Vaastav’, he won the Filmfare Award for the Best Actor, and for his performance in ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ he won the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian.    Â
His most commercially successful movies are ‘Naam’ (1986), ‘Khalnayak’ (1993), ‘Vaastav: The Reality’, (1999), ‘Mission Kashmir’ (2000),’ Munnabhai MBBS’ (2003), ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ (2006),’ ‘Kidnap’ (2008), and ‘PK’ (2014). A film based on his life was released in 2018 named ‘Sanju’ where he made a special appearance in a song. It was a huge success commercially and critically. His unsuccessful films include ‘Chatur Singh Two Star’ (2011) and ‘Department’ (2012).
