In a future world, a compassionate doctor discovers a disembodied female cyborg with an intact human brain and attaches a new cyborg body to it. Named Alita, after the doctor’s deceased daughter, she awakens with no memory about her past. The film focuses on how she learns to navigate not only her new life, but also the treacherous city streets.
