Black is an Indian drama film, which tells the story of a young girl Michelle, who is deaf, mute and blind. Eventually, a stubborn teacher, named Debraj, helps bring light into her dark world. Despite her disabilities, she eventually takes on the challenge of graduating college.

Saketh Ram loses his wife in a riot, after his house is attacked by a group of Muslim thugs. Therefore, he soon becomes a Hindu extremist, but rather than blaming the men responsible for his wife’s death, he thinks Mohandas Gandhi is responsible, due to his tolerant approach towards Islamic fundamentalism. His mind gets filled with hatred, and he starts planning to assassinate Gandhi.

Veer Zaara is a romantic drama film, which tells the story of an Indian pilot Veer Pratap Singh, who rescues a stranded Pakistani girl, Zaara. Love eventually blooms between them. As Veer spends a long time in a Pakistani jail, Zaara believes him to be dead and devotes her life to his village in India. 

Balraj Chauhan, the devious Chief Minister, challenges Shivaji Rao to run the state for one day. He takes the challenge head on and works hard to bring an end to dishonesty, double-dealing and corruption. After his success, people force him to join politics but things go dirty as Chauhan wants to maintain his ugly ways of running the state.

Michael is an influential student leader, who tries to keep local politicians out of college elections. A local goon tries to bribe Michael, but he refuses. Michael is unware that this is going to result in a strong retaliation.

Inspector Surjan Shekhawat and wife Roshni are still reeling under the shock of their son’s loss when he is called to examine an actor’s death. Seemingly a straightforward case, the accidental death soon deepens into a mystery where a sex-worker Rosie adds to the puzzle. As Shekhawat works towards solving the mystery, he also learns to mend his troubled relation with Roshni.

Siddharth Marathe is a local boxing champion. His brother, Jai, works as a manager for Raunak Singh, a former boxing champion running a travel agency, but in reality Raunak is a notorious gangster. Siddharth soon starts working for Raunak, but after Raunak murders a man named Hari, Siddharth remembers the words of his father, who was a freedom fighter. He decides to stand up against Raunak, and fight against him.

No One Killed Jessica is a crime thriller film which tells the story of Sabrina Lal, who joins forces with an investigative journalist named Meera, to seek justice for her sister Jessica, who was shot by Manish, the son of an influential politician. After Manish manages to get acquitted due to lack of evidence, Meera performs various sting operations, to expose the failure of law and order in the country. Eventually, the public decides to protest against the cover-up in order to bring justice to Jessica.

Karan and Rhea meet for the first time on a flight and end up hating each other at the end of their journey. However, at different stages of their lives, they continue to bump into one another, and they soon start befriending each other, and eventually fall in love.

Aditya and Suhasini fall in love, but their marriage is met with opposition from their parents as their families belong to different backgrounds. Despite this, they elope and get married. However, over time, marital problems threaten to drive them apart, as Suhasini is convinced that Aditya is having an affair. Things get worse when she gets involved in a car accident while crossing the street, which results in a fatal injury.

Raj, who owns a truck company, falls for a young woman named Priya, a fashion designer. Eventually the two get married. However, differences between them lead to a separation, and it threatens to destroy their relationship.

In  the 19th century, Mangal Pandey is an Indian sepoy serving in the British Army in Afghanistan, where he befriends Captain Williaim after saving the latter’s life. However, things turn ugly when the East India Company introduces a rifle that uses pig fat or beef tallow, which is objectionable to Hindu as well Muslim religious beliefs. Therefore, Mangal Pandey decides to revolt, and inspires the Indian people to stand against the British.

Paheli is a fantasy romantic drama film which revolves around a ghost who falls in love with a woman who has been newly married. The ghost soon manages to assume the form of her husband, and also befriends the members of her husband’s family.   

Rakesh and Vimmi are two misfits from a small town who turn to a life of crime and fraud, and eventually they begin to be known as the infamous duo Bunty and Babli. They continue scamming all kinds of people from all walks of life, but things get complicated when they attract the attention of an upset police officer.

Her dreary life starts changing for the better when Aman Mathur comes to live next door and she starts falling in love with him. But there is also Rohit Patel, her best friend. 

A shy and introverted government employee named Surinder, falls in love at first sight, with the cheerful and extroverted daughter of his former Professor, at her engagement. When her fiancé is killed in a road accident, the Professor suffers a major cardiac arrest, and on his death bed, he asks Surinder to marry his daughter, fearing that his daughter will be alone in the world. 

Karan and Priya meet on a cruise from Singapore to India, and over time, they become friends and fall for one another, despite the fact that both their marriages are scheduled to their respective partners. During their departure, they agree to go about their lives without communicating to one another, but promises to meet after a year. However, their meeting doesn’t take place as Priya meets with an accident.
