Kamal Hassan is an Indian film actor, director, producer, singer, songwriter and dancer. A four-time National Film Award winner, he is mainly known for his work in Tamil cinema. He began his acting career as a child artist in ‘Kalathur Kannamma’ (1960). He made his breakthrough as a lead actor in ‘Apoorva Raagangal’ (1975) which was a critical and commercial success.
Till date, he has given numerous hit films and only a few flops.
