Lisa Bonet has had a speckled film career however; she remains to be one of the very few child artists who have claimed longevity in the showbiz. Renowned for her performance in ‘The Cosby Show’ where she portrayed Denise Huxtable, Lisa Bonet initially starred in commercials, guest spots, walk-on TV parts in her early days. After ‘The Cosby Show’ which was a major hit, she was seen in ‘A Different World’ which was a spin off series. She also starred opposite Mickey Rourke in ‘Angel Heart.’ She left ‘A Different World’ after she announced her pregnancy and returned to ‘The Cosby Show’, however, she was ousted due to “creative differences.’ She was seen as the host of ‘Why Bother Voting?.’ ‘Enemy of the State’ featured her in a supporting role. Some of her other works include ‘Biker Boyz,’ ‘Road To Paloma,’ ‘Dead Connection,’ ‘Whitepaddy,’ ‘New Eden,’ ‘Lathe of Heaven,’ ‘High Fidelity,’ and ‘Life on Mars’ amongst others.
