Kym Marsh made her breakthrough with ‘Popstars’ on ITV, in 2000. She got associated with the band ‘Hear’Say’ and released the singles ‘Pure and Simple’ and ‘The Way to Your Love,’ which became the number one hit of 2001.

She won the Newcomers Award at the 2007 National Television Awards for her role as Michelle Connor in the soap opera ‘Coronation Street’.
She appeared as herself and narrated the 2019 mini-series television documentary ‘Stalked: Murder in Slow Motion.’
Children in Need was a BBC television program meant to raise charity for needy children. Every BBC local and national radio and TV station was involved in this.
