Flula Borg began his entertainment career as a ‘Schuhplattler’ dancer in Bavaria, Germany, and also presented live music and comedy shows. His initial screen appearances were in short-films ‘Resurgent’ (2008), ‘Blow Me’ (2012), ‘Leashes’ (2013).
Further, Borg appeared in few episodes of reality TV-series ‘Action Hunters’ and ‘Last Call with Carson Daly’ (both 2013=2014). He was guest-host for TV-series ‘Rec X’ (2013-2015). He was cast as German a cappella group leader in musical-comedy film ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ (2015).
Thereafter, he appeared in several TV-series ‘Photobomb’ (2015), ‘High Fives’ (2015), game-show ‘@midnight’ (2015-2017), ‘Smash Babies’ (2015-2016) and ‘Younger’ (2016). He also appeared in feature-films ‘Little Paradise’ (as Klause), ‘Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Road Chip’ and TV-film ‘Cuckoo’ as ‘Cuckoo’ (all in 2015).
Borg was co-writer, co-producer and star of independent comedy-film ‘Buddymoon’ (2016) which won ‘Audience Award’ at ‘Slamdance Film Festival.’ He was further seen in 2016’s comedy-films ‘Dirty 30,’ ‘She’s Allergic to Cats,’ TV-film ‘Hindenburg Explodes!’ and TV-series ‘Millennials: The Musical,’ and several episodes of ‘Conan’ amongst others.
Borg provided voice for numerous animation-projects including ‘The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show’ (2017), adventure-comedy-film ‘Ferdinand’ (2017), major role in ‘The Boss Baby: Back in Business’ (2018-2020), adult animated-sitcom ‘Archer’ (2018), Walt Disney film ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ (2018), Disney-series ‘Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventures’ (2018-2019), TV-film ‘Lucky’ (2019), series ‘Teen Titans Go!’ (2019), musical-comedy film ‘Trolls World Tour’ (2020), streaming musical-comedy series ‘Centaurworld’ (2021), action-adventure comedy-film ‘Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers’ (2022), fantasy-comedy film ‘Luck’ (2022) and more.
Borg was writer-producer-star of the social action special ‘Flulanthropy’ (2017). His later screen appearances include TV-sitcom ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ (2017), sci-fi thriller series ‘Counterpart’ (2018), fantasy-comedy series ‘The Good Place’ (2018), educational-comedy series ‘Adam Ruins Everything’ (2018), Netflix comedy-series ‘Brews Brothers’ (2020), comedy-thriller film ‘Bad Therapy’ (2020) and others.
Borg played ‘Gunter Broun’ in superhero film ‘The Suicide Squad’ (2021). He has earned a name as a DJ and a YouTube personality.
