Milana Vayntrub is an American actress and comedian who has dominated all the current genres of entertainment, be it television, films or web. A talented young artist, Vayntrub first made her foray into television with her YouTube comedy channel, ‘Live Prude Girls’. The channel hosted several short and hit web series and was ranked at Top 100 channels countdown.
Vayntrub’s tryst in films began with the 2011 comedy film ‘Life Happens’. The film received mixed to positive reviews and fared averagely at the box office. She did two more films thereafter, ‘Junk’ in 2012 and ‘Ghostbusters’ in 2016. However, it was her presence in television that made her famous and a household name. Vayntrub’s most memorable role has been as Tara in ‘Silicon Valley’, as Tina Shukshin in ‘Other Space’, as Natalie in ‘Love’ and as Sloane Sandburg in ‘This Is Us’. Vayntrub has grabbed a lead role in the upcoming series ‘New Warriors’.
All Nighter is a comedy drama film which tells the story of Mr Gallo, a workaholic, who discovers that his daughter has disappeared without a trace. Therefore, he has no choice but to ask her awkward ex-boyfriend Martin for help. Although Martin is still heartbroken after his breakup with Ginnie, he decides to team up with his ex-father-in-law and find his former lover.
Life Happens is a comedy film which tells the story of three women named Kim, Deena and Laura, three friends who are confident bachelorettes. They live together and share the same attitude towards men. Their lives however take a turn when Kim has unprotected sex, which makes her pregnant and eventually a single mother.
The remake of the 1984 classic Ghostbusters, follows paranormal researchers Abigail Yates, Erin Gilbert, Jilian Holtzman, and Patty Tolan. They take up the mantle of the Ghostbusters to stop occultist Rowan North who is summoning an army of deadly ghosts to bring an end to the world.
