Emily Bett Rickards is best known for her role as ‘Felicity Smoak’ in the superhero television series ‘Arrow’ (2012 - 2019) for which she won the ‘Ship of the Year MTV Fandom Award,’ in 2015 and 2016. She reprised the role of ‘Felicity Smoak’ in the Arrowverse shows ‘The Flash’ (2014 - 2017), ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ (2016 - 2017), and ‘Supergirl’ (2017). She did a voice role of the same character in the animated series ‘Vixen’ (2015 – 2016).
She started her career in films in the early 2012 with minor roles in the movies ‘Random Acts of Romance’ and ‘Flicka: Country Pride’. Her most notable performance on the big screen came as ‘Patty’ in the romantic historical period drama film ‘Brooklyn’ (2015). After this film, her popularity grew and got her a starring role, alongside Jana Winternitz and Matthew Glave, in the comedy film ‘Funny Story’ (2017). She appeared in the role of ‘Amber’ in the 2019 independent movie ‘We Need to Talk.’
