Amy Brenneman is best known for playing ‘Detective Janice Licals’ in the police drama ‘NYPD Blue’ (1993–1994). She is also known for starring in shows such as ‘Judging Amy’ (1999–2005), ‘Private Practice’ (2007–2013), and ‘The Leftovers’ (2014–2017). She was nominated for three ‘Emmy Awards’ and three ‘Golden Globe Awards’ for her performance as ‘Judge Amy Gray ‘in ‘Judging Amy.’Â
She made her acting debut in the comedy-drama series ‘Middle Ages’ in 1992. The following year, she was seen in ‘Murder, She Wrote,’ a crime-drama television series.
