Emily Browning was first seen on-screen in an Australian family drama movie ‘The Echo of Thunder.’ She followed this with roles in television soap opera ‘Something in the Air,’ children’s television series ‘High Flyers,’ and police drama series ‘Blue Heelers.’ Her breakout role came with horror film ‘Ghost Ship,’ where she portrayed Katie Harwood. She starred as Violet Baudelaire in the gothic dark comedy film ‘Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events,’ and bagged in the ‘Australian Film Institute International Award’ for the same.
