Anakin Skywalker, now a Jedi Knight disillusioned with the crumbling order, is encouraged by Chancellor Palpatine to use the dark side to kill Count Dooku while rescuing the former with Obi-Wan Kenobi. When he gets visions of his pregnant wife Padmé Amidala dying in childbirth, Palpatine again lures him to the dark side, promising him powers to prevent death.

East Side High becomes the lowest-ranked school in the state irrespective of the efforts made by Dr Frank Napier. He turns to Joe Clark, an unorthodox and arrogant ex-teacher to become the Principal of the falling school. But Clark has to first deal with narcotics and school gang before he could focus on improving the student body's state exam scores.

The film revolves around the lives of three women, Karen, Elizabeth, and Lucy. Karen is a physical therapist who regrets giving up her daughter for adoption during her teenage years. Meanwhile, Elizabeth, who was adopted as a child, is now having a successful career as a lawyer, but she is unhappy with her personal life. The film also tells the story of Lucy and her husband, who decides to adopt, after failing to conceive.

When there is an assassination attempt on her, Obi-Wan Kenobi sets out to investigate the matter and discovers a massive army of clones. Later, they meet Anakin Skywalker, a slave boy with strong natural powers of the Force. They now have to find a solution to trade blockade and also deal with the mysterious return of the Sith.
