Vance DeGeneres is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, musician, and producer. He started his entertainment career with a radio show titled ‘New Wave New Orleans.’ The show was broadcast on ‘WRNO-FM.’ He also joined a band called ‘The Cold,’ in 1973. He was the bass guitarist in the band. He co-founded another band called ‘House of Schock’ in the 1980s. He joined another band called ‘Cowboy Mouth’ in the late 90s as a keyboard player. He also appeared with his band on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ in 2006 to perform one of the songs from his band. He is the older brother of Ellen DeGeneres. He was also the co-creator of ‘Mr. Bill’ of the ‘Saturday Night Live.’ The character became quite popular in the mid-1970s and appeared in many short films. He is currently associated with ‘Carousel Productions at Warner Bros.’
