Steven Seagal is an actor, screenwriter, martial artist, musician, director and producer. The movies for which he is best remembered are ‘Hard to Kill’ (1990) and ‘Under Siege’ (1992).

Before venturing into the field of acting, Seagal was a martial arts instructor in Japan. He got his first break in acting with the film ‘Above the Law’ (1987). In the following years, Seagal was seen in many action movies including ‘Hard to Kill’ (1990), ‘Marked for Death’ (1990), ‘Out for Justice’ (1991), ‘Under Siege’ (1992), ‘On Deadly Ground’ (1994), ‘Half Past Dead’ (2002), ‘Black Dawn’ (2005), ‘Machete’ (2010), and ‘Sniper : Special Ops’ (2016). Along with movies, he is also a well-known musician. His various songs have featured in some of his movies. In 2005, his first album, ‘Songs from the Crystal Cave’, was released.Â
