Eric Braeden is a German-born American actor, best known for his lead role as ‘Victor Newman’ in the popular soap opera ‘The Young and the Restless’ (1980 –present). He won a ‘Day Time Emmy Award’ for ‘Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series’ for the show. He made his film debut in the 1961 film ‘Operation Eichmann.’ He made his TV debut in the show titled ‘Combat’ (1962-64). He had his first starring role in the action TV show ‘The Rat Patrol’ from 1966 to 1968. His popular TV shows include ‘Hawaii Five-O’ (1969-73),‘ Wonder Woman’ (1975-78),’ Lucky/Chances’ (1990), ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (1999), and ‘How I Met Your Mother’ (2008). His first starring role in a film came in ‘100 Rifles’ (1969). His other performances came in films such as ‘Colossus: The Forbin Project’ (1970), ‘The Ambulance’ (1990), ‘Titanic’ (1997), ‘The Man Who Came Back’ (2008), and ‘Den of Thieves’ (2019).
