David Caruso is an American actor and producer. He made his TV debut in the uncredited role of a bellboy in an episode of ‘Ryan’s Hope’ (1976). He received his first major break when he was cast as Donnie Muller in ‘Palmerstown, U.S.A.’ (1981).
Consequently, he was cast in some recurring roles in TV series’ like ‘Hill Street Blues’ (1981 – 1983), ‘Crime Story’ (1986 – 1988), and ‘H.E.L.P’ (1990). David Caruso really established himself as a bona fide TV star after nailing the role of Detective John Kelly in ‘NYPD Blue’ (1993 – 1994). He gained equal fame for playing the titular role in ‘Michael Hayes’ (1997 – 1998).
Undoubtedly, David Caruso is most famous for portraying Lieutenant Horatio Caine in the crime-drama series ‘CSI: Miami’ (2002 – 2012). He has also appeared in a few movies.
