Victoria Silvstedt first appeared in the comedy television series ‘Oddville, MTV’ in 1997. The following year, she made her silver screen debut in the American sports comedy film ‘BASEketball’ directed by David Zucker. The film received mixed to negative reviews from critics and holds a 42% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That same year, she also starred in the John Quinn-directed comedy film ‘Beach Movie’ which also received a negative response from critics. She next appeared in television shows such as ‘Unhappily Ever After’ (1999), ‘Malibu, CA’ (1999), and ‘Melrose Place’ (1999). The year 2000 saw the release of the Stephen Kessler-directed mockumentary comedy film ‘The Independent’ where Silvstedt played the role of ‘Blossom.’ The film received positive to mixed reviews from critics and scored a 60% score on Rotten Tomatoes. In 2001, she starred as ‘Inga’ in the American comedy film ‘Out Cold’ directed by The Malloys. The film was panned by critics and was a commercial failure. She next appeared in the 2002 American romantic comedy film ‘Boat Trip’ directed by Mort Nathan. The film received mostly negative reviews from critics and ultimately tanked at the box office. In 2003, she joined the cast of the Swedish-American low-budget daytime soap opera ‘Joanna Coons’ created by Joanna Coons. She played the role of ‘Detective Johanna Marsden’ and starred in 9 episodes of the series.
She continued to star in films and television series such as ‘Matrimonio alle Bahamas’ (2009), ‘Un'estate al mare’ (2008), ‘Crazy Driving’ (2009), ‘Heartbreaker’ (2010), ‘Bob Ghetto’ (2010), Lookalike! Look-alike or Not?’ (2012), ‘Nos chers voisins’ (2013), ‘Renées rubriker’ (2014), ‘Fest hos Bindefeld’ (2015), ‘Realitystjärnorna på godset’ (2016), ‘Renées brygga’ (2017), ‘Wahlgrens värld’ (2018), and ‘RIX MorronZoo’ (2019-2021). She last appeared in the reality television series ‘Här bor jag’ in 2022.
