John Lydon, popularly known by his former stage name, Johnny Rotten, is an English singer-songwriter and reality star. He is best known as the lead singer of the British band ‘Sex Pistols’ (1975-78). The band was known for its rebellious songs, such as ‘God Save the Queen’ and ‘Holidays in the Sun’ before it was disbanded. John is also the lead singer of another punk band ‘Public Image Ltd’ (PiL). The band was founded in 1978, and disbanded in 1993. The band was revived in 2009. Known for his rebellious nature and preposterous conversations, Lydon is the flag-bearer of punk rock music in the UK. Lydon has also worked as a TV host, and appeared in the UK version of ‘I’m a Celebrity ..Get Me Out of Here!’
