Courtney Ford is an American actress best known for her recurring role as reporter Christine Hill on Showtime's television series 'Dexter' in 2009 and her lead role as Jessica Crowder on the television film 'Kept Woman' in 2015. According to her, 'Dexter' was supposed to be her last audition following a grueling decade-long struggle to become an actress had she not been selected for the role. One of her best roles on television, it earned her a 'Screen Actors Guild Awards' nomination that she shared with the rest of the cast. Her best film role is portraying Sterling on the sci-fi film 'Alien Raiders', for which she won the 'Best Actress' award in 'Science Fiction Genre' at the ShockerFest in 2008.
Her other successful television appearances include 'True Blood', 'The Big Bang Theory', 'Parenthood', 'Murder In The First', 'Revenge', 'Supernatural' and 'Legends of Tomorrow'. Some of the best films in her short filmography so far include 'Fling' (2008), 'The Good Doctor' (2011) and 'Sironia' (2011).
She did voice acting for the character Maria in the video game 'Gears of War 2' in 2008 and Piper Wright in 'Fallout 4' in 2015, and earned a BTVA nomination for the latter.
