Pam Ferris is a German-born Welsh actress. After performing on stage in many plays and following guest appearances in a few dramas, she had a role in the drama 'Hardwicke House' (1987). She then went on to feature in the TV series 'Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit' (1990), 'A Sense of Guilt' (1990) , 'The Darling Buds of May' (1991-93), 'Cluedo' (1992), 'Middlemarch' (1994), 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall' (1996), 'Where the Heart Is' (1997-2000), 'Our Mutual Friend' (1998), 'Clocking Off' (2003), 'Rosemary & Thyme' (2003-06), 'Jane Eyre' (2006), and 'Call the Midwife' (2012-16).
As a film actress, Ferris has contributed to the hit films 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' (2004), 'Nativity' (2009) and 'Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger' (2012). The list of her flop films include 'Matilda' (1996), 'Death to Smoochy' (2002), 'Children of Men' (2006), 'Holmes & Watson' (2018) and 'Tolkien' (2019).
