He played the role of ‘Pfc. Shaun Lenihan’ in the 2011 American military science-fiction action film ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ directed by Jonathan Liebesman. The film received mostly negative reviews but did decent business at the box office, grossing over $211.8 million on a budget of $70 million. That same year, he became a part of the American comedy-drama television series, ‘Shameless.’ He played the role of ‘Mickey Milkovich’ and remained a part of the series until it went off-air in 2021.
In 2012, he starred as ‘Vladimir’ in the American romantic fantasy film ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ directed by Bill Condon. The film saw mixed reviews upon release and was a massive commercial success. In 2014, Fisher voiced the character ‘Michelangelo’ in the American superhero film ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Jonathan Liebesman. Even though the film was panned by critics, it performed well at the box office. He returned to voice ‘Michelangelo’ in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows,’ the sequel to the 2014 ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.’ The film was a critical and commercial disappointment. He was last seen in the 2020 American biographical drama film ‘Capone’ directed by Josh Trank. The film received a mixed response from critics.
