A musical biopic, this movie traces the life of the famous singer and comedian Joe E. Lewis. When a young Lewis refuses to sing for a club, its owner has his vocal cords cut. Years later, with encouragement from his girlfriend Letty Page, he succeeds in becoming a comedian. However, his drinking and gambling habits create problems for him.

Nellie Forbush is a nurse working for the US Navy, who falls for a middle-aged French plantation owner named Emile. However, when she finds out that he is the father of two children, she decides to leave him. Heartbroken, Emile agrees to take on a dangerous military espionage mission. But in his absence, Nellie is struggling to deal with her feelings for him. When she learns about his mission, she starts to care for his children, fearing he might not return alive.  

Fresh out of high school, naïve Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Erickson enters college and is eager to join prestigious school sororities and elite group of girls. However, after witnessing pranks, humiliating behavior, and cruel hazing rituals of the sororities, she is shocked and embittered. But her friendship with senior student and ex-soldier Joe Blake proves a succor for her.

This musical comedy drama film takes us to 1919 and revolves around the lives and careers of Terence and Molly Donahue, a husband-and-wife vaudeville team. Over the years, their children Steve, Katy and Tim begin to join the act one by one as well. Things get complicated when Tim falls for a performer named Vicky. After things go sour between them, Tim abandons the act, and disappears.   

A married couple, Jack and Kitty, get injured in a car accident, after learning that Kitty is pregnant. Kitty not only loses the baby, but is horrified to learn that she will not be able to conceive again. The couple therefore decides to adopt, but due to their show business background, they have a hard time finding kids to adopt. 

The I Don’t Care Girl is a musical biopic which revolves around the life Eva Tanguay, a vaudeville performer in the early 1900s.   

Broadway headliners and partners, Bill Benson and Ted Adams, travel separately to Paris to find a leading lady for their upcoming show. While Bill chooses Patsy Blair, Ted chooses Gaby Duval. While returning, he is smitten with Emily Stackerlee, an aspiring stage-artist. When he takes her along to give her a part in a nightclub act, she brings her bloodhounds with her. Yvonne feels jealous, which gives rise to complications when a fresh investigation starts over Foster’s book-making. 

Happily married and parents of two, Chris and Alice Walters are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary which Chris decides to rejoice with a romantic evening together. Alice’s parents send a TV as gift, which Chris detests. Chris accidently lets out the couple’s secret which upsets Alice’s parents. One thing leads to another, resulting in an argument, threatening their ‘happily married’ life. 

Due to his criminal activities, a gangster is exiled from the United States, and is sent back to the Greek island which is his place of birth.  There, a corrupt local police chief keeps an eye on him. Meanwhile he meets a king and attempts to purchase few jewels for a million dollars. However, when he wires for the money to his associates back in the US, they decide to double cross him.

Down among the Sheltering Palms is a musical romantic comedy film which tells the story of Captain Bill Willoby and Lt Frank Schmidt, who are assigned to Midi Island along with their unit. They are welcomed by King Jilouili and many of the native girls. However, Captain Willoby strictly orders his men not to fraternize with the natives. , Things get complicated when the King offers him a beautiful woman to marry as a token of his appreciation.

The Birds and the Bees is a romantic comedy film which tells the story of a cunning girl who, along with her father, cheats a naïve man out of his money, while on a cruise. However, things take an interesting turn when the girl starts to fall in love with the man.
