Jason Daniel Earles was first seen in the American sketch comedy television series ‘Mad TV’ in 2003. The following year, he made his silver screen debut in the Jon Turteltaub-directed American action-adventure film ‘National Treasure’ where he played the role of ‘Thomas Gates.’ Even though the film received a mixed response from critics, it managed to gross over $347.5 million on a budget of $100 million. In 2005, he starred as ‘Ernie Kaplowitz’ in the American sex comedy film ‘American Pie Presents: Band Camp’ directed by Steve Rash. The film was panned by critics and currently holds a 17% approval score on Rotten Tomatoes. The following year, he joined the main cast of the American teen sitcom ‘Hannah Montana’ as ‘Jackson Stewart.’ The series aired 98 episodes in a span of 4 seasons before going off-air in 2011. He continued to star in television films and series such as ‘Shorty McShorts' Shorts’ (2007), ‘Boston Legal’ (2008), ‘Yin Yang Yo!’ (2009), ‘Aaron Stone’ (2009), and ‘Dadnapped’ (2009). In 2009, he reprised his role as ‘Jackson Stewart’ in the American teen musical comedy-drama film ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’ directed by Peter Chelsom. The film, despite opening to a mixed critical reception, turned out to be a box office success and grossed over $155.5 million on a budget of $30 million. Earles also received a ‘Teen Choice Award’ nomination for his performance in the film.
In 2011, he became a part of the American comedy television series ‘Kickin' It’ where he grabbed the role of ‘Rudy.’ The series ran for 4 seasons and aired its final episode in 2015.
