Felicia Day is an American actress, writer, singer, voice actress and a web-series creator. She is best known as one of the co-creators of the web series ‘The Guild’ which ran from 2007 to 2013 on YouTube. In the past, she has also been one of the members of board of directors of International Academy of Web Television.
Born and raised in Alabama, Felicia Day was home-schooled for the most her childhood during which time she gained an interest in playing violin. Rejecting the offer to attend Juilliard School of Music, she arrived in Los Angeles to start a career in acting, eventually making her acting debut in the 2001 film ‘Strings’. She had her first major breakthrough in 2007 with self-created web series ‘The Guild’.
She also appeared in pivotal roles in series’ such as ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘Eureka’, ‘Supernatural’ and ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’. She has also appeared in many films over the years, such as ‘Lust for Love’, ‘Red: Werewolf Hunter’ and ‘Bring it on Again’.
