Declan Donnelly is an English television presenter, producer and actor who is best known as one half of the TV presenting duo 'Ant & Dec' alongside Anthony McPartlin. One of his first prominent roles was portraying Duncun, one half of the pop music duo PJ & Duncan, in the children's drama series 'Byker Grove' (1989−1993), in which McPartlin portrayed PJ.
The duo presented 'The Ant & Dec Show' from 1995 to 1997, followed by 'Ant and Dec's Geordie Christmas' (1997), 'Ant & Dec Unzipped' (1998), 'SMTV Live' (1998−2001, and again in 2018), 'CD:UK' (1998−2001), 'Friends Like These' (1999−2001) and 'Pop Idol' (2001-03). However, it is the variety show 'Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway' (2002-09) that made them the best known duo. Since being revived in 2013, the show has won them two 'BAFTA TV Awards' and a 'National Television Award'. The duo have also been presenting 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' since 2002 and have won a 'BAFTA' and a 'British Comedy Award' for it. They are also known for co-presenting 'Britain's Got Talent' since 2007 and 'Text Santa' from 2011 to 2014.
As an actor, he has starred in the 2006 film 'Alien Autopsy'.
