The following year, she made an uncredited appearance in the comedy-drama film ‘Madea's Family Reunion.’ The film opened to a mixed reception and was a major financial success, grossing over $63.4 million on a budget of $6 million. In 2007, McClain joined the main cast of the American sitcom television series ‘Tyler Perry's House of Payne’ where she portrays ‘Jazmine Payne.’ The tenth season of the show will premiere on March 23, 2022.
