Cass Elliot, also known as ‘Mama Cass,’ first appeared as herself in TV series ‘Hootenanny’ (1963), followed by other series including ‘Talent Scout’ (1963), as a ‘singer’ in ‘Shindig!’ (1965), ‘Hullabaloo’ (1966), and more.
Elliot played ‘Witch Hazel’ in comedy-fantasy movie ‘Pufnstuf’ (1970), and also played various guest roles in TV series ‘The Red Skelton Show’ (1971), ‘Love American Style’ (1972), ‘Young Dr. Kildare’ (1972), ‘The New Scooby-doo Movies’ (1973). She appeared as guest-performer in ‘Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In’ (1972), and featured in TV’s musical Western-comedy ‘Saga of Sonora’ (1973). In Western-movie ‘Monte Walsh’ (1970), she performed the title song.
