Anna Chlumsky started her acting career as a child artist playing the role of Vada Sultenfuss in the comedy drama film ‘My Girl’ (1991). Though her acting skills were appreciated, the movie did not do that well at the box office. She won the Best Performance by a Young Actress award for her performance in the sequel to the movie in 1994. She was appreciated for her performances in ‘In the Loop’ (2009), ‘The End of the Tour’ (2015) and ‘Hala’ (2019).Â
She won the Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her performance in the television comedy series ‘Veep’ (2012 – 2017). Her other appearances on television that received positive reviews include ‘Covert Affairs’ (2010), ‘White Collar’ (2011), ‘Hannibal’ (2013 – 2014) and ‘Halt and Catch Fire’(2017).Â
Her performance as Josie in the comedy drama series ‘Cupid’ (2009) did not make much of an impact on the audience.Â
