Middle-class antique shop owner Kanji Lalji Mehta is an atheist whose shop alone gets destroyed in a low-intensity earthquake. When insurance claim is denied citing it as ‘Act of God,’ Kanji decides to sue the God. But Lord Krishna supports him through his case and helps him unmask the religious heads who exploit people in God’s name; thus restoring Kanji’s faith in God.

Based on the short story The Last Leaf by O. Henry, Lootera is a romantic drama film which tells the story of a landlord’s daughter named Pakhi, who meets a good-looking young man Varun, who claims to be an archaeologist. Varun wants to study the land surrounding the temple owned by her father. As they discuss art and literature, Varun and Pakhi fall for each other, but Pakhi is not aware of the fact that Varun is a conman.

Dev is a police officer who is investigating a double murder case, which has two prime suspects- a renowned writer Vikram, and Maya, a young homemaker. Problem is that they both have different narratives regarding the night that the murder occurred. Dev tries to interrogate them in order to find out the truth.

Son of Sardar is an action comedy film which revolves around a man named Jaswinder Singh Randhawa, who learns that he needs to return to his hometown to sell a piece of land that he has inherited from his father. Upon arriving, he falls for a young woman, but soon it seems that she belongs to the very same family that had a rivalry with his own family. They plan to kill him as soon as he sets foot outside their house.

Chulbul Pandey is a police officer who catches criminals in his own unconventional ways. His life however takes a turn when Balwant Singh, an enemy from his past responsible for the death of his ex-girlfriend Khushi, returns to his life.  

Set in 1945, before India gained independence, this romantic drama film revolves around six characters from different families, as they experience love, betrayal, depression and revenge.
