Arjun and Rahul return home in order to visit their grandfather who is terribly ill. They soon discover that their parents’ marriage is falling apart, and things get even more complicated when a girl causes a quarrel between the two.  

Dev is a police officer who is investigating a double murder case, which has two prime suspects- a renowned writer Vikram, and Maya, a young homemaker. Problem is that they both have different narratives regarding the night that the murder occurred. Dev tries to interrogate them in order to find out the truth.

He tells her that she might not be a part of his future, and after she leaves, he gets drunk and passes out. He soon wakes up in Thailand and finds out that he is already married to Diya, and is now on his honeymoon. He begins to feel that he might have unknowingly time-traveled.

Student of the Year is a romantic comedy drama film which tells the story of Rohan and Abhimanyu, who are good friends. Rohan is dating Shanaya, a rich and popular girl at their college. Things get complicated when over some time, Abhimanyu realizes that he is also in love with Shanaya.
