Daniel Lawrence Whitney is an American actor, stand-up comedian, singer, and radio artist. He is famous by his stage name ‘Larry the Cable Guy.’ He has received positive reviews for his performances in ‘Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie’ (2003), ‘Cars’ (2006), and ‘Cars 3’ (2017). Some of his movies, including ‘Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector’ (2006), ‘Delta Farce’ (2007), and ‘Witness Protection’ (2008) failed to make an impact on the audience.
He has released seven comedy albums of which three have been certified Gold. Larry the Cable Guy has also appeared as a guest in the television series ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ (2011 – 2010), ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’ (2005 – 2014), ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ (2015 – 2017), and ‘The Chew’ (2017). From 2011 to 2013, he starred in the series called ‘Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy’ in which he explored the different lifestyles of America.
