James Maslow is an American singer and actor who gained popularity after starring as James Diamond on Nickelodeon's ‘Big Time Rush’ (2009–2013).
He made his debut on the TV show ‘iCarly’ (2008) and his movie debut was in ‘urFRENZ’ (2009). He landed his breakthrough role on ‘Big Time Rush’, and made appearances as James Diamond on ‘How to Rock’ (2012) and ‘Big Time Movie’ (2012). He then cameoed as himself on several TV shows like ‘Nick News’ (2011), ‘Hand aufs Herz’ (2011), ‘Figure It Out’ (2012), and ‘Marvin Marvin’ (2013). These are considered to be some of the best roles of his career whereas ‘Seeds of Yesterday’ (2015), is his worst movie.
The actor has also lent his voice to the characters of Eskimo Rockstar on ‘Stick Stickly’ (2013) and Kristoff in ‘Princess Rap Battle’ (2016). In 2014, James Maslow participated in the 18th season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and finished fourth. He has since appeared on the TV series ‘Sequestered’ (2014); and the movies ‘48 Hours To Live’ (2017) and ‘It Happened One Valentine's’ (2017).
