Damon Dash is a film producer, director, actor, record executive, and entrepreneur. He is best known as the co-founder of music record ‘‘Roc-A-Fella.’ He started his career as a sweeper at a local barbershop, and learned to hustle his way into the entertainment industry. He worked as Jay –Z’s manager for a while, before he co-founded ‘Roc-A-Fella’ with Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter and Kareem "Biggs" Burke. He had his breakthrough when he organized a successful tour for Jay-Z. As an actor, he made his debut in the 2000 film ‘Highlander: Endgame.’ Some of his other films include ‘State Property’ (2002), ‘Paid in Full’ (2002), ‘Death of a Dynasty’ (2003), ‘State Property: Blood on the Streets’ (2005), and ‘Red Apples Falling’ (2009). He will soon be seen in a film titled ‘Steele Justice’ (TBA). He has also appeared in a TV series titled ‘Event of My Demise’ (2019).
