Celine Dion is a well-known Canadian singer. She became known as a teen star, with a series of albums in French in the 1980s. She also won the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival, as well as the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, where she represented Switzerland. Her first English album was Unison, which released in 1990.
She received international fame after she released best-selling albums such as `Falling into You` (1996) and `Lets Talk about Love`, (1997).
Her best and critically acclaimed works include the song `Beauty and the Best`, which was nominated for two Grammy Awards, and won one; `Falling into you`, her fourth English album, which won two Grammy Awards, and her song `My Heart Will Go On`, which also won two Grammy Awards.
Her most commercially successful works include `Unison` (1990), `Celine Dion`, (1992), `The Colour of My Love`, (1994), `D`eux`, (1995), `Falling into You`, (1996), `Let`s Talk about Love`, (1997), `A New Day Has Come`, (2002) and `Taking Chances` (2007). Her works which were not very successful comparatively include her albums `1 fille and 4 types` (2003) and `Miracle` (2004).
