He tells his aunt that he is going to bed, but instead, he tries to come up with a plan to prevent his own murder.

An average vaudeville performer, Larry Haines, is traveling to Hollywood with his roller-skating penguin Percy, when he meets a beautiful blonde, Karen Bentley, who actually is a British secret agent. She is trying to take coded information past the pursuing Nazi agents who take Larry as her colleague, and frame him for murder. So, how do they manage to escape the Germans?

Driftwood is a drama film which tells the story of six-year old Jenny, an orphan, who rescues a dog, after he survives a plane wreck, where all other passengers were killed. She and the dog is soon adopted by Dr Steven Webster, though his fiancée isn’t very fond of themss.   

Anne, a young widow, who has succeeded her husband as the mayor of the town, takes her duties much too seriously, spending most of her time at the office, making her father-in-law worried about her health and happiness. Then she meets George, who has been hired to sculpt a statue of her late husband and the two develop an instant liking.  

On its way to California from Hawaii, the engine of a commercial airliner dies. As the pilot attempts a safe crash landing, the passengers begin to reassess their lives.

Connie Chase receives a letter from Chaseville, in Chase County, Kentucky, which informs her that her husband Jimmy, a lawyer, is a descendant of the Blue Grass State Chases. Both Jimmy and Connie assume that they are now aristocratic heirs, and they decide to visit their wealthy relations. Upon reaching Chaseville, they learn that things are not at all what they had expected, and their kin are actually poor and illiterate people.

This drama film revolves around Stella, a matron living in Washington who tries to ignore the effects of the Second World War. When the radio is turned on, though she hears the news of the Pearl Harbor bombing, she attempts to ignore it.

Sam Gifford is a wealthy and arrogant southern cotton plantation owner who, after being drafted into the army during WWII, comes in conflict with his superior and is transferred to a punishment company run by a sadistic commanding officer. His outlook of life changes forever as he comes closer to the working-class people he once despised.

Duel Personalities is a short comedy film which tells the story of a young guy named Alfafa, who is heartbroken after his sweetheart Darla has chosen the neighborhood bully Butch over him. In order to forget his woes, he pays a visit to a show of a hypnotist named Professor William Delmore. He is hypnotized into believing that he is the fearless D’Artagnan, of The Three Musketeers. However, Alfafa is knocked unconscious before the Professor could remove the hypnotic suggestions. With his new personality, he is able to impress Darla, and even challenge Butch to a duel.

Vida is living with her younger sister Evelyn and her brother-in-law Murray, working in a diner owned by Murray, who is paralyzed since he had a car accident. Due to his condition, he is bitter and cruel to Vida, and he often calls her a spinster, and asks her to marry and move out. Although Vida has a boyfriend Eddie, she instead forms an attraction to his friend Glenn, upon meeting him. However, things get complicated because he shows interest in both sisters, which causes Murray to get jealous. Things get worse when Murray ends up dead, and Evelyn becomes the prime suspect.

Reporter Pete Garvey who works at a French orphanage wants to adopt two children Bobby and Suzi and marry his longtime girlfriend Emmadel. Unfortunately, she got tired of waiting for Pete is engaged to American aristocrat Wilbur Stanley. Pete hatches a plan with Wilbur’s cousin Winnifred Stanley to win Emmadel back. 

There’s One Born Every Minute is a comedy film which tells the story of Lemuel Twine, who decides to enter the political scene by running for mayor. However, he is unaware that his financial backer Lester Cadwalader is making him run only to see the current mayor re-elected. Things take a turn when Lemuel’s daughter Helen bumps into her ex- boyfriend Jimmy Hanagan. Jimmy becomes an advertising director for her father’s pudding company, and within a short time he manages to sky-rocket the business.

Michael Kent, a comic strip writer for a newspaper, bumps into a gifted psychiatrist named Susan, and instantly falls for her. He also manages to convince her father for their marriage, but Susan is not interested. She comes up with a plan to get rid of him, with a patient’s help.

Courage of Lassie is an adventure war drama film which tells the story of Bill, a dog and his young companion, Kathie Merrick. After an accident, Bill is separated from Kathie, and is trained as a war dog.

A former stage actor discovers that her daughter is quite talented as well, and starts encouraging her to become a Broadway star. She even goes as far as to break her daughter’s love affair, in order to achieve her dream of making her daughter a star.  

On Our Merry Way is a slapstick comedy film revolving around Oliver, who has lied to wife about being a reporter in a newspaper, though he is actually a clerk there. 

A woman is wrongly convicted and loses all her family ties thereafter. When she is released from prison, she takes the name of Belle Le Grand and leaves for San Francisco where she becomes an affluent gambler. However, chaos ensues when her sister, Nan, coincidentally shows up, along with Belle's estranged husband.

A gang stages an elaborate musical show in Spanky’s backyard. However, Tommy Butch, the local bully, plans to sabotage their production, as he has been excluded from the show.

The sixth film in the Francis the Talking Mule series, the story follows the US army officer, Lieutenant Peter Stirling. Mistaken for his lookalike in US navy, he is shipped to the other man’s base, where accompanied by his old friend, Francis the talking mule, continues with his misadventures.

He decides to clear up the mistake, but a man convinces him to pretend to be a ghost, in order to sort out all the marital problems with his wife.

During the Korean War, Lt. Polly Davis, a military nurse working for the US Air Force, is sent to Japan on her first assignment with the Medical Air Evacuation Unit. Although the images of war negatively affect her, she gains her composure to provide aid to the wounded soldiers.
