Considered as one of the best musical films ever made, Funny Girl revolves around the life of comedienne Fannie Brice. It depicts how she struggled in her early days,  and managed to reach the height of her career.

Along with his fiancée, Howard Bannister travels to San Francisco, to compete for a music research grant. He soon runs into a charming young girl Judy Maxwell, in the drug store, who is quite smart and knowledgeable, despite the fact that she is a college dropout. She soon brings chaos into his orderly life.

The Prince of Tides is a romantic drama film which tells the story of Tom, a troubled football coach, who goes to New York to help Susan, a psychiatrist, cure his twin sister who is struggling with psychological problems. He talks to her about their family history, and in the process, starts to fall for her as well.

Claudia Draper is a call girl who has been charged with the murder of a client. Her mother and her stepfather wants to have her declared insane, so that she can avoid being sent to jail. However, Claudia rejects this approach, since she doesn’t want to be put in a mental institution. Eventually the attorney hired by her parents is attacked by Claudia, and therefore a public defender named Aaron Levinsky takes on her case instead, and he tries to prove that she is not insane.

Inventor Andrew Brewster, who has developed a new product that he is finding difficult to market, embarks on a cross-country road trip for sales pitch. During his New Jersey stop, he visits his overbearing widowed mother where he learns about her past and invites her to join his trip. Though difficult at first, the passing miles make them understand each other better.  

The awards-winning movie features Katie Morosky, a Jewish idealistic political activist, and Hubbell Gardiner, an easy-going, talented writer. Though opposite in their views, they are drawn towards each other in college, then falling passionately in love, they get married when they meet again after WWII. Hubbell prospers as a Hollywood screenwriter, but Katie’s activism creates trouble for him during the ‘Blacklist era,’ separating the two.

However, soon it seems that she wants to marry him herself, and eventually, she travels to Yonkers to pay him a visit. However, she is met with surprise when she learns that Horace loves a woman named Irene. However, Irene doesn’t love Horace, but is only interested in financial security.

Gregory is a shy middle-aged professor who believes that sex ruins relationships. He gets married to a colleague named Rose, on one condition that their marriage is platonic. However, Rose starts to get physically attracted to him.

A sequel to Meet the Parents, the movie sets up the meeting between the Byrnes family and Greg Focker’s parents, Bernie and Roz Focker. The polar opposite lifestyle of the parents almost tears the happy couple of Greg and Pam apart until they find their way back to each other through humorous situations. 

In this last film in the Meet the Parents series, Greg and Pam are leading a contented life with their twins when Jack Byrnes shows up and appoints his son in law as the successor of the Byrnes family. However, despite his move, Jack is still doubtful of Greg. His suspicion is enhanced when he sees Greg with the beautiful Andi Garcia.
